Hello. I am the SAHM of a Homeschooling Drama Queen who is entering the 6th grade. I also have a 16 yo son in public school. I have always loved cooking and baking. This was just the next step.. My drama queen has named my catering business already (LOL). My better half works between 60 and 90+ hours a week as a paramedic. We all live in MA.

I am enrolled in the Gourmet Cooking course. I will be starting lesson 9 tomorrow.. I love it...

We are so excited to hear from all of our parents. Not only are you trying to achieve your own educational goals but you also have the added responsibility of raising a family and organizing a household. Our hats are off to you.

Hello all!! Im Kara a 31yr old sahm of 3 ages 10, 6 and 3. I will be going back to work when my litle guy goes to school in 3 years.

Its hard to study now that school is out for the summer so i find myself staying up till the wee hours of the morning trying to get something done. It seems like all heck breaks loose the minute I touch my school books.
Good thing is I have 2 lessons and I will be done! I wanted to be done by now but this month has been very busy!!

Hello my name is Evelyn and I am 32 years old. I am a mom to a one year old boy. I want to start my home daycare by next year and being able to do online courses helps me a lot. I can spend time with my son and go to class. No Driving!! Woohoo. Specially with gas prices getting higher. So I am looking forward to my lessons.

Hello, my name is Amy. I'm 29 and a mother of two, son 8 and daughter 4. I'm currently enrolled in the Associates Degree in Healthcare Management. I work full time at a cruises line and full time at home since my husband works graveyard shift as a Dispatcher for the City of Miami Beach Police Department. With that being said going to a traditional school was out of the question. Luckily I stumbled across Ashworth University and it has been awesome ride so far.

HI,

My name is Maggie and I'm a 38yr old stay at home mom of 3 girls--4yr, 27 months and 12 months. Life is QUITE hectic around here and I'm glad that I found an online course that is going to fit my schedule. I'm enrolled in the Bachelor in Business Admin degree program and am very excited about it.

My husband was previously active duty Navy and has since gone to the Reserves. With his job (he wroks nights and has a 2 hour commute each way) and his Navy Reserve responsibilities, AND working on his Masters degree, there is no room in the schedule for me to sneak away to a traditional class.

I took classes here when it was still PCDI and LOVED it! That's what brought me back. I was employed as a secretary until the birth of our 3rd daughter (daycare is too expensive) and I plan on returning to this field after getting my degree.

I know that there are going to be some bumps in the road ahead, but Im confident that this is going to work for me! Congrats to all the other parents out there who are taking this step!!

Hi! My name is Heather and I'm a 24yrold sahm to my 1yr old son Reilly. I found Ashworth through a friend and my previous job and just LOVE that when they say online they really mean online, no commuting to take tests! I also am unable to take traditional classes since with a toddler, my days are unpredictable...especially since he's started walking aka getting into trouble. I recently enrolled in the Interior Decorating program. I decided to do this since 1) i need a degree and 2) I'm interested in decorating my house in a way that sets the mood and theme i'm wanting. Once Reilly and any future kids are in some form of school, I plan to return to AU for my Bachelors in eBusiness.
